The Geldner Center offers services that are popular among men as well as women. Gynecomastia affects an
estimated 40% to 60% of men. It is defined as the overdevelopment of breast tissue in makes and is often related
to excess fat or overdeveloped muscles. Removal of fat or tissue from the breasts with gynecomastia correction
results in a chest that is flatter, firmer, and more contoured.



Dr. Peter D. Geldner is Chief of Plastic Surgery at Michael Reese Hospital. He is also Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois and a clinical instructor at The University of Chicago.
Dr. Iteld received his medical degree from the Univeristy of Michigan School of Medicine and then completed an integrated residency in Plastic Surgery at the University of Chicago Hospitals.
